New Delhi, India, 4th July, 2008’ – Ascent Telecom launches “EnduraTalk” a PC based softphone that uses SIP protocol to make IP calls. EnduraTalk features an easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface). This Softphone has been developed keeping in mind special focus on “Voice Quality” control and comprises of enhanced features like Echo cancellation, Jitter/Buffer, Packets Management, Noise suppression etc, that enables the caller to make hassle free, high quality calls.

EnduraTalk has GIPS (Global IP sound) advance voice engine integrated and has been tested thoroughly in varied Network conditions and on various Windows OS versions and returned very stable results. GIPS advanced VoIP engine takes care of the media (RTP) part by managing the various voice parameters. This integration ensures EnduraTalk as a superior and stable quality softphone.

EnduraTalk , Ascent Telecom’s SIP based Softphone will cater to the “VoIP service provider” segment, who intend to procure a high quality softphone to cater to their customers. This segment will comprise of “Hosted/Managed Platform Providers”, “ITSPs”, “Broadband Operators”, and “PC –to-Phone Service providers”.
