OVERVIEW

EnduraMobile Softphone v S.3.0 is a Mobile Application that gets installed on Symbian supported Nokia Mobile Phones and lets the caller make a VoIP call via 3G, GPRS on 2G or WiFi. This method of making VoIP calls through the Mobile calls is popularly knows as mVoIP or MobileVoIP.

Service Providers use EnduraMobile Softphone to offer MobileVoIP services with the following benefits:

  1. Fastest access to Subscribers since the penetration of Internet enabled Mobile Handsets is much more than standard Fixed Line Broadband.

  2. 3G, Mesh WiFi and High Bandwidth GPRS on 2G networks have reached critical mass for deployment of VoIP Services.

  3. There is no requirement of a PC or a VoIP Device like an ATA or an IP Phone to initiate a VoIP Call.

  4. Subscribers can roam with their Mobile Phones in different countries and still be able to use the Service through WiFi.

  5. Calling Card Operators can save on Access Charges / Toll Free Charges and pass on the benefit to the Subscribers.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. The Mobile Dialer is integrated with the Service Provider’s SoftSwitch & Billing Infrastructure, Private Labeled and ready for Download from its website.

  2. The caller downloads the Mobile Dialer to his Mobile Handset by connecting to the internet (By using GPRS, WiFi or Bluetooth).

  3. The caller enters the User Name and PIN for authentication.

  4. The caller then enters the number to make a call (in the format Country Code + Area Code + Telephone Number)

  5. The Application uses the internet connection (3G, GPRS on 2G or WiFi) to establish the call.

  6. The caller gets the benefit of low VoIP Calling rates through his standard mobile phone.
